What Motivates Me!
Though, I'm a fitness "freak" now, I didn't always have that mentality. I used to be very overweight and out-of-shape, so much I topped out at 270 lbs on my 5'10 frame. "Where are my toes??" As a football coach, I didn't have issues getting in and out of a 3-point stance when teaching my players but I saw bigger coaches that were having issues. I wasn't that far behind size-wise! YIKES! I wanted to make changes in my life and for the better, but how do I do it? I needed a plan. There is a flood of soooo many "innovative" ways to get in shape. "Hey, this fitness book has nice pictures! Pretty colors!" "That sounds like a great 'breakthrough' product on that infomercial! Electric pulses vibrating my belly! Cool!" "Stuff on YouTube...WOW! Talk about information overload!" Everybody has a "system" but which one will work for me? In some form or fashion, they all will, whether you use THAT "system" or you take parts of different systems and put together something that works just for YOU! So why did I put this site together? I want to document and share what I have learned through the years. Anything that I will place on this site are things that have been helpful in expanding my knowledge base. I hope that YOU will find it beneficial too! Cuz' it's all about YOU! So, let's get to it!! Oh! By the way, I got down to 190 lbs and have been able to see my toes ever since! LOL
